Apprentice Lineman Jobs in Arizona

Experience in climbing wood poles, lattice structures and work off steel mono pole structures.

Assist in the construction of new overhead and underground services and service upgrades

Able to operate Bucket Truck, Digger Derek, Back-hoe, Production digger, Tensioner, and Rope puller

Work is done on conductors and equipment energized at distribution voltages using approved protective equipment

Employee will be required to work in bucket trucks using approved safety practices and rules

Completion of an accredited apprenticeship program

3 to 4 years’ experience as a Lineman Apprentice or equivalent experience.

Must pass written exam and demonstrate climbing skills.

SRP Lineman Job Knowledge Test

Digs holes, frames and sets poles, installs crossarms, pins, insulators, and related equipment by using tools as required.

Erects and replaces all poles and towers by using rope blocks, boom trucks, winch lines and associated tools and equipment.
