Summary:
Candidates should be knowledgeable of OSHA guidelines and have good written and oral communication skills. All candidates should have experience and knowledge of distribution and transmission lines as well as some underground and substation experience.

Specific Duties:

• Able to operate Bucket Truck, Digger Derek, Back-hoe, Production digger, Tensioner, and Rope puller
• Assist in the construction of new overhead and underground services and service upgrades
• Work is done on conductors and equipment energized at distribution voltages using approved protective equipment
• Experienced sticking and gloving
• Clipping of over-head structures
• Experience in climbing wood poles, lattice structures and work off steel mono pole structures.
• Knowledge in framing
• Employee will be required to work in bucket trucks using approved safety practices and rules
• Employee is expected to comply with the Code of Conduct at all times and shall participate in the all hands safety programs.

Qualifications:

• REQUIRED: MUST be able to travel!
• High School diploma
• Must be dependable and have good record of attendance and punctuality.
• Understand equipment operations & pass RES equipment evaluations/ trainings.
• Completion of an accredited apprenticeship program
• Must have an interest in a program of self-development and be willing to accept increasing responsibility as a team member of a line crew
• Must have own tools
• Required Valid CDL license with excellent driving record

Anticipated Salary Range: $24.00 - $34.00/hr

The final agreed-upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. This position is bonus eligible.
