Overview An Apprentice Equipment Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner. They are responsible for the safe operation of a variety of heavy equipment, such as bulldozers, backhoes, graders, and other construction equipment. They must be able to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and other technical documents. They must also be able to follow safety protocols and procedures. They must be able to inspect and maintain the equipment, as well as troubleshoot any problems that arise.
