Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field.

Create and regularly maintain all project management trackers; i.e. Asana

Proficient in Gsuite, Excel, Asana, or other timeline management software.

Communicate daily with related overseas Project Managers, Compliance, Vendors and Suppliers to ensure a smooth product development process.

Request, confirm approval and document sample costs, product unit costs and tooling costs, as received from overseas Project Managers and suppliers.

Liaise cross functionally to ensure that product meets aesthetic specifications, functional specifications, licensor standards and safety and reliability requirements.

Minimum of 2 year’s experience as a product developer.

Must have extensive experience working independently both domestically and in Asia developing products with contractors and material suppliers.

Requires some relative experience in role and type of work done.

2+ years of experience in retail merchandising, retail planning, product management, retail buying, or other applicable experience

Portland/Remote - Reports to Product Merchant Manager

Participate in product strategy creation and development of assortment for retail and consumer channels

Help research and gather marketplace information using a combination of industry and company data coupled with retailer and consumer feedback

Partner and build relationships with cross-functional teams – product creation, merchandising, and consumer insights, marketing, sales and tech

Partner with the sales team to show future season products and provide feedback to the product team

At least 6 years of product management experience within the consumer goods industry leading technical apparel and/or gear product categories

Set detailed product requirements (performance needs and features) that deliver on a compelling user experience

Quality and Customer Experience Teams to better understand customer sentiment and any potential product issues

Advanced knowledge in materials and cut & sew manufacturing

Premium brands and consumer goods experience is strongly preferred

Excellent agility and problem-solving skills demonstrating the ability to work within the grey

Working knowledge of Web PDM and PLM data management systems

Develops products, recommends constructions, advises on proper fit for style that meet design and Product Management expectations

Excellent collaboration skills and an ability to manage multiple timelines and deadlines

Strong product acumen with working knowledge of apparel product development processes, including design, development, sourcing, and manufacturing

Understanding of trade regulations, testing protocol, product integrity requirements, product cycle timeline and basic production process.

Knowledge of patternmaking and virtual digital systems, like, Gerber Lectra, Browzwear 3D, Optitex, Clo3D a plus

Manage all critical development dates on calendar and follow development WIP.

Supports the development process to achieve commercial feasibility of designs through collaboration with Design, Product Managers and Technical Design teams.

Collaborate with NBHK and Production, Sourcing & Ops Manager to analyze and evaluate business and supply chain performance on seasonal basis.

Seamless or bra experience is a plus.

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Product Development and Sourcing.

Experience in regional sourcing, either domestic or international.
