Generating leads by offering lawn care quotes to homeowners during Marketing seasons

Competitive pay ranging from $17-$30 with year round opportunities (including commission pay!)

Winter / Early Spring = $17-$20/hr after training, $15/hr during training

Spring / Summer / Fall = $17-$22/hr on average, $28/hr for top performers, $15/hr for training

Criminal History Screening, Education/Degree/Certifications Verification, Social Security Number Trace, and Sex Offender Registry Search

Ability to perform within a team-oriented work environment.

Ability to work weekends and holidays based upon a rotation schedule.

Certified by the American Association for Laboratory Animal Science (AALAS) as an Assistant Laboratory Animal Technician (ALAT)

Will this job require the employee to work on site?

If operating a motor vehicle for the purpose of completing job duties, must possess a valid Missouri Motor Vehicle Operator's License.

Understands and complies with operating and regulatory requirements related to care of laboratory animals.

Participates in the cleaning and maintenance of animal quarters.

Monitors and reports on environmental room and housing conditions.

Recognizes and reports clinical abnormalities and/or irregularities in lab animals. Learns the variations among laboratory animals and modes of disease control.

Euthanizes all species according to established regulations.

Maintains accurate and prompt records in accordance with outlined procedures. Report areas of noncompliance.

1 year of supervisory or management experience

Encourage staff to pursue higher education, certifications and professional growth

Experience and/or knowledge of research recharge center invoicing, billing, or fee recovery practices

Experience and/or knowledge of preparing and monitoring service and maintenance contracts

An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered

AALAS Manager of Animal Resources (CMAR) certification or eligibility to become certified

Ability to think critically and demonstrated time-management skills.

Identifies, documents, and properly communicates any animal medical problems to the Zoological Manager and Veterinary staff in a timely manner.

Volunteer, intern, or paid animal care experience in a zoo or equivalent setting preferred.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Knowledge of the Microsoft Office.

Strong organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
