Master’s in Chemistry, Geochemistry, Forensics, or related field, or the equivalent combination of education and related experience.

PhD in Chemistry, Geochemistry, Forensics, or related field, or the equivalent combination of education and related experience.

Ability and drive to learn new techniques and independently advance lab characterization efforts and capabilities.

Ability to obtain and maintain fissile material handler certification.

Significant experience in actinide materials characterizations and operations within a highly regulated environment

Knowledge of state-of-art analytical instrumentation and testing of nuclear materials.

Specific Education & Experience Requirements:

Maintains detailed knowledge and information regarding contract partner services, capabilities and processes

Communicates risks and delays to management and technical leads on a timely basis

Establishes priorities and coordinates testing schedules based on program requirements by interfacing with colleagues in Technical Development and Manufacturing Operations

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with all levels of an organization

Prior experience with analytical/QC testing for solid oral dosage forms and/or parenteral, or large molecules/biologics is preferred.

Have an expertise in Math, Operations Research, Physics, Statistics, Biostatistics, Economics, Finance, Computer Science, or another quantitative field.

Have strong software engineering and design skills and can work within a shared (Python) code base.

Have experience applying data analysis, machine learning, or statistical modeling to real world applications.

Ph.D. in cancer biology, molecular biology, biochemistry, or related field plus 0-5 years of relevant experience required.

Five years of relevant postdoctoral research experience, optimally at the level of Research Associate, Assistant Staff Scientist or similar position.

Experience in drug screening and HT assays is a plus.

Maintain working knowledge of relevant literature.
