Analyst Category Management Jobs in Ohio

10+ years in CPG and/or Sales experience, Category Management experience

Proven people management experience leading a team and coaching and developing others.

Able to work independently, with varying levels of management and cross-functionally

B.A. Degree or equivalent combination of experience and education

Lead the Sales’ education initiatives to support internally & externally

Previous CPG experience, preferably in the Vitamin, Minerals & Supplements category

Lead the team to ensure inventory strategy and management for all channels to drive productivity, efficiency, revenue, and margin targets

Adept at managing organizational change and project management and seizing opportunities for growth and continuous improvement.

Maintain current knowledge of industry trends and best practices, makes recommendations to improve current programs and processes.

15+ years prior experience in a leadership role in Retail, eCommerce, Sales & Merchandising Strategy with P&L responsibility

Multi-channel experience (internal or field sales Sales)

Strong verbal and written communication skills, including public speaking

Support the development and execution of category strategies in close alignment with the Category Management Team.

In collaboration with the Business Units, support strategic sourcing initiatives led by the Category Management team.

Minimum undergraduate degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Marketing, Engineering, Business, Data Science, or similar discipline required.

Communication and negotiation skills with the capability to meet targets, manage concessions and deliver results.

On-board new Suppliers in close collaboration with the Category Manager and coordinate supplier evaluations.

Collaborate with the Category Manager to develop and maintain ongoing sourcing strategies & minimize supply and labor risks.
