Aging Life Care Manager Associate Jobs

Minimum (1) year experience in mental health setting working with clients with disabilities preferred.

Certified Nursing Assistant credentialing and experience required.

Experience or training in related state and federal assistance programs also preferred.

Basic computer literacy skills are necessary.

Rhode Island certified nursing assistant certification required.

Utilize comprehensive nursing assessments, plans, interventions and evaluations in direct client care.

2+ years Health Care Regulatory, reimbursement and / or fraud & abuse experience.

Industry experienced is a plus.

Experience with health care and life science transactions.

"Big Law" experience is strongly preferred.

JD from ABA accredited law school with stellar academics.

Admission or eligibility for the DC Bar.

Demonstrated experience with microscopes, image analysis systems (Image J), or electronic data entry systems.

Demonstrated experience recording biological data.

Demonstrated experience relevant to project-specific interests, including interpreting samples and data of fish hard parts, such as otoliths, for aging.

Demonstrated experience with personal computers using word processing software, spreadsheets, and email.

Bachelor’s degree in marine, estuarine, environmental science, biology, or other related fields.

Duties include but are not limited to the setup of rooms, maintenance of program paperwork and the purchase of supplies.

Advertise events and programs. Maintain program bulletin board and contribute to association newsletters.

Attend, as needed, leadership team meeting or advisory council meetings.

Ability to deal positively and professionally with program participants and staff.

Minimum of 3-5 years' experience with the aging/ chronically ill /Individuals with disabilities population.

Education of client, caregiver regarding available care options and innovative technologies

Manage time efficiently and bill accordingly.

Knowledge of Health care delivery systems

Knowledge of insurance programs and community services

Bachelor's degree with 1-2 years' experience

Demonstrated experience with personal computers using word processing software, spreadsheets, and email

Knowledge of the operation and maintenance of a necropsy laboratory, microscopes, and chemical handling hoods are preferred

Prepare samples, mix chemicals, make measurements, record data, and use and maintain analytical instruments

Investigate fish life history (age, growth, mortality, reproduction) and make observations, analyze results and maintain accurate records

Use Project Management tools and operational experience to keep multiple projects on track and on budget concurrently

Current Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

Demonstrated customer service experience working remotely with external customers in a clinical environment

Proficient in project Management Software such as MS Project

People leadership skills will be utilized for direct reports and as an influencer in cross functional groups

Minimum 2 years of experience leading cross-functional teams

4-5 years of experience in care management, home care, acute care, and/or a rehabilitation setting

Having a basic understanding of care management

Conducting psycho-social evaluations and assessing cognitive abilities and mood

Participating in company supervision and completing required company education materials

Experience in behavioral health preferred

Experience working closely with families & professional providers

5. You must have excellent organizational and time management skills.
