Aeronautical Analyst Jobs

Analyze existing material master data (Item / Part, Commodity code, Location, Classification, Inventory management norms, bill of material etc.) to:

Validate existing data for consistency & accuracy

Identify & plug any missing data

Remove duplicate / redundant data

Handle structural errors (e.g. inconsistent punctuation, typos, mislabeled classes)

Standardize part descriptions, specifications, Classification (UNPSC)

Incorporate field knowledge within documented standards framework to identify and creatively solve problems

Maintain a working knowledge of the development, review and analysis of airspace structure to include new design processes and procedures

Acquire and maintain DO-200A associate qualifications according to applicable sections of the Personnel Qualification Manual

Acquire and maintain DO-200A initial and follow-on training requirements according to applicable sections of the Training Plan

Demonstrate a basic working knowledge and understanding of aeronautical charting principles relevant to GARMIN’s business needs

Previous work experience as an air traffic controller, military TERPS Specialist or aeronautical information specialist

Manage incoming worldwide aeronautical updates

At least ten years of experience frequently working with aeronautical publications including Flight Information Publications and Terminal Instrument Procedures.

This experience could come from a variety of backgrounds including TERPS, Flight Crew, Mission Planning, etc.

US citizenship is required per contract.

Review aeronautical safety of navigation documents and data for viability and accuracy.

A thorough understanding of aeronautical information and aeronautical update cycles in necessary.

Good interpersonal skills verbal and written

Confirmed experience with design tools for the field (Mathcad / Matlab, etc.)

Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or an Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering field

Must have graduated, from an accredited college or university since May 2022, or will graduate by June 2023

Must have obtained degree within 12 months of the date of hire

FM&T - must be a US Citizen and be able to obtain a Security Clearance
