Admissions Director Healthcare Jobs in Texas

Identifies opportunities with new referral partners/sources and develops sales strategies to build relationships and communicate the facility’s services and offerings.

Evaluates and subsequently adjusts admission practices as needed based on reaching desired occupancy.

Maintains an updated listing of Hospital/Clinical Liaison Hospital Assignments and communicates to the appropriate liaisons on an ongoing basis.

Ensures admission paperwork is completed and filed according to facility policy.

Informs the Administrator and Marketing Leadership of obstacles or barriers to admitting residents and provides solutions to such obstacles and barriers.

Ensures the daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly census report are completed accurately.

Marketing or community relations experience, including knowledge of health care industry.

Excellent people skills, including the ability to communicate effectively in writing, verbally, and in public speaking situations.

Ancillary policies including AD&D, STD, Cardiac, Cancer, Critical Illness, Hospital Confinement

Make speaking presentations on long-term care, aging or other appropriate topics to local community groups.

Conduct facility tours and complete daily admissions process for prospective residents.

At least 4-5 years of professional experience preferred, including some management experience

Manage the local Admissions team, focusing on effective training and onboarding and fostering staff professional development

Prior experience in any of the following: admissions, student recruitment, program evaluation
