Accounting And Collections Clerk Jobs

Assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining effective coordination and working relationships with area personnel and Management.

Prepares documentation on loans extended or refinanced and sends to the Records Department.

Familiarity with collection procedures and requirements.

Prior office experience very helpful, especially in financial settings.

Excellent communication and public relations skills.

Assumes responsibility for the effective and timely performance of collections processing functions.

Comparable experience, education, and training may substitute for minimum qualifications.

Minimum of 2-years experience as an Accounting Clerk or equivalent.

Responsible for tracking and follow-up of client copays for compliance with grant requirements

Previous experience with working to serve the public and/or general customer service experience is preferred.

Conducts complex and routine audits of a variety of records by examining, verifying, and reviewing accounts and invoices.

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or equivalent experience

Assist with other accounting tasks and projects as assigned by the accounting manager or team lead.

Must have experience to email and call customers in order to collect past due balances.

Experience working in a corporate accounting environment

Excellent communication skills and engaging/ friendly; you will be speaking with customers across in the US and Internationally

Must have experience to make sure past due invoices are going to get paid in a timely payment.

Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers

Ability to communicate effectively with customers, management, and peers to facilitate all AR processes.

Hands-on experience in operating spreadsheets

Customer service orientation and negotiation skills

Receive or initiate calls and e-mails working directly with customers.

Special reporting as may be required.

Inbound call experience to provide customer service regarding accounting calls/inquiries, strong follow-up skills, attention to detail, and time management

Various other duties assigned by Accounting Managers

Accounting and collection experience preferred

This position requires an individual who is self-directed, detail-oriented with strong communication skills and a desire to solve problems

Monitor accounts on a daily basis

Collect payments on past due bills
