Abuse Intervention Group Facilitator Jobs in Florida

Experience: Minimum of 1 year group facilitation experience

Port Saint Lucie, FL 34986: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Individual / group counseling: 1 year (Required)

Pay: $50.00 - $75.00 per hour

Present his/her experience as well as managing the flow of the discussion in group

Basic knowledge of the disease model of addiction

Strong interpersonal and assertive communication skills

Responsible for the preparation and running of various groups

Completing the group notes in KIPU, which will be reviewed daily by the clinical staff

Take attendance, observe the behavior of all clients, and maintain a safe environment for them

Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and completing 20 annual Continuing Education Units per FAC 65D-30.

Ability to communicate effectively with staff, management, and clients

Effectively conduct educational groups, utilizing lectures, videos and discussions.

Demonstrate good strategic and problem-solving skills.

Knowledge of State & Federal Statutes Regarding Patient Confidentiality laws

2 years’ experience in the Substance Abuse Field
