WHAT WE NEED IN AN ASSISTANT CASE MANAGER - ABA

Bachelor's degree in an area related to autism such as applied behavior analysis, child development, psychology, or a related field

Certified, by an approved provider, in adult CPR with AED and infant-child CPR

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities (Not Limited To):

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

This position provides a variety of services to students in a classroom and school-based environment

Create teaching materials that align with academic, social-language and behavioral programming.

Assist in functional assessments and analysis and deliver behavior programming to individuals using the methodology of ABA.

Maintain a program book and summarize and visually represent academic and behavioral programming weekly.

8. Maintains and acquires technical knowledge by attending required trainings.

10. Adheres to Agency standards and consistently interprets and accurately performs all assigned responsibilities.

Must have 1 – 2 years experience working with special needs children in various settings.

2. Follows the behavioral plan developed by BCBA supervisor.

3. Collects, records, and summarizes data on observable client behavior.

Strong organizational and time-management skills along with the ability to manage multiple tasks

Experience working with children with autism is preferred, but not required

Good judgment and creative thinking skills

Must meet background check requirements.

Teach communication, behavior, self-help, and social skills as stated in the treatment plan.

Paid supervision towards BCBA certification

Previous experience or familiarity with ABA therapy or developmental disabilities

Collect behavior and skill acquisition data during sessions

Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred or equivalent work experience

Preferred Registered Behavior Technician certificate from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board

A minimum of six months experience with ABA therapy, working with children with Autism

A rewarding experience helping children and families reach their full potential

 Strong verbal and written communication, time management and organizational skills, problem solving

 Experience with applied settings with individuals on the autism spectrum or other developmental disability

Must complete Behavior Technician credential requirements within time frame set forth by BACB

Experience working with children with autism spectrum disorder preferred

Understand and implement the Individualized Treatment Plan (ITP) as identified by the BCBA.

Strong Verbal and written communication, time management, and organization skills

Serve as an instructional aide to provide educational support within cyber charter schools

2 years experience with children is preferred but not required
