The Intern Position Typically Requires The Following Qualifications

Review brochures - make sure we have a stock of most recent Marketing brochures and destroy outdated material

Set up tracking for all clients’ completed Financial Planning tasks with dates when completed

Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of data sources, methodologies, and code to facilitate knowledge sharing and future replication.

Education: Currently enrolled in a Masters degree program in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.

Programming Skills: Proficiency in at least one programming language commonly used in data science, such as Python or R.

Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a passion for working with data.

Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey findings and insights to team members and stakeholders.

Data Collection and Cleaning: Collect, clean, and preprocess datasets from various sources to ensure data quality and usability.

Prepare financial reports about business performance for internal management

Any experience or background in Finance or Accounting

Pursing a degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field

Ability to learn new skills/concepts quickly

Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal

Assist with validation to ensure accurate financial disclosures

Design & enhance the Notion platform with new capabilities, as and when the need arises.

Where and How You'll Work

This role has the following work-designation options:

Participate in a series of rotations in various accounting functions, including financial accounting, management accounting, tax.

Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide insights to management.

GPA of 3.2 or higher and proven leadership skills either in school or professional experience

Seniors or recent graduates with an undergraduate degree in finance, economics, accounting, business administration, and/or quantitative degree program

Assist with the preparation of financial statements, general ledger entries, and other accounting functions.

Participate in financial and operational audits.

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Experience coding in one or more languages. Preferably Java
