About The Strategy and Management Program

As a Strategy & Management Summer intern you will

Demonstrates analytic problem-solving skills, with a creative outlook

Demonstrates strong logical reasoning, listening, communication, and presentation skills

Have experience conducting qualitative and quantitative research

Requires active listening, critical thinking, making decisions, time management, as well as administration skills.

Liaison with operating partners and leading members of the asset management team to review business plan execution

Perform additional ad-hoc analysis for the asset management team to assist in fundraising

Ability to read and analyze investment, lease and management agreements

Advanced financial modeling and analytical skills

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong listening and interpersonal skills. Highly effective at preparing and presenting information.

Critically thinking to evaluate strategic rationale for a potential acquisition and how the target may create synergies with UHG’s existing capabilities

Basic knowledge of financial modeling and valuation techniques

You’ll excel as a Global Wealth Management (GWM), Private Client Group Account Analyst if you:

Have a strong interest in the financial markets, macroeconomics, and investment finance

Possess the ability to develop client relationships into strategic partnerships and have an interest in a client facing career within Finance

Have taken coursework related to finance/capital markets (recommended)
