Manage a small amount of onsite equipment fleet.

Manage craftsmen, equipment, and material resources.

Provide a detailed construction plan for each day and general plan for one week. Manage work to stay within schedule.

Manage scheduling of all QA/QC inspections of work necessary to obtain owner acceptance of the work.

Ability to manage crew into an effectively coordinated working unit, promoting a motivating atmosphere.

Performs all required job duties

2+ years of industrial painting experience

Knowledge of paint spraying equipment

Knowledge of various types of paints

Knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field

Performs other duties and assignments as directed by management.

What key skills and experience do I need?

Review inventory against anticipated work load to maintain adequate stocking levels. Prepare requisitions for re-stocking and submit to the Manufacturing Manager.

Specialized knowledge of industrial painting techniques and tools, painting with inorganic zinc based paints, water based zinc paints and epoxy.

Must have excellent organizational and communication skills with ability to work well with external and internal customers.

Related experience in a manufacturing environment and formal training in industrial painting is preferred.
