HII Mission Technologies currently has an opening for a remote Zero Trust Cloud Engineer to join the team. The ideal candidate will Assist with research and proof of concept efforts to determine where additional technologies may be necessary to achieve the desired level of zero trust.

Responsibilities: I want to and can do that!

• Mentor colleagues on technologies and processes related to the enterprise network.
• Assist with Identification of system requirements for external and internal facing web applications, networks, operating systems, and cloud environments
• Participate in documenting and accreditation of the enterprise network according to applicable DoD standards
• Assist with research and proof of concept efforts to determine where additional technologies may be necessary to achieve the desired level of zero trust
• Design, document, and deploy network solutions
• Lead migration from legacy VPN solutions to Zscaler
• Monitor systems and report issues
• Provide off-hours remediations as necessary
• Implement security standards within network infrastructure

Requirements: I have already done that or have it!

• Demonstrated experience implementing SD-WAN and mesh VPN technologies
• 0 years experience with Bachelors in related field or High School Diploma or equivalent and 4 years relevant experience.
• Knowledge of zero trust principles, frameworks, and implementation strategies
• Hands-on experience in network design, network engineering, network operations in medium - large enterprise networks
• Demonstrated experience supporting hybrid networks (On-Prem, Commercial Cloud, Colo)
• Demonstrated experience implementing Zscaler ZIA/ZPA
• Experience with Palo Alto firewall platforms
• Ability to obtain a DoD security clearance

Preferred: Bonus Points For…

• Experience with other NGFW products (Cisco, Checkpoint, Fortinet, etc)
• Palo Alto Certifications
• Zscaler Certifications

Physical Requirements

May require working in an office, industrial, shipboard, or laboratory environment. Capable of climbing ladders and tolerating confined spaces and extreme temperature variances.
