Job Description

Our viral YouTube entertainment client has two openings for onsite Mid Level Video Editor. The editor will be editing videos (1-2+ per week) and might also have video editing needed for apparel brand.


The ideal candidate is someone who has vast experience working with YouTube content and understands what it takes to create engaging videos.


You must be able to use Adobe products suite (Premiere/After Effects/Photoshop) at an advanced level.


Required:

  • Two (2) plus years of experience with Adobe Suite (Premiere/After Effects/Photoshop)
  • Able to build quick animation clips to insert into funny moments in a video
  • Uphold their values and reputation at the highest standard
  • Strong eye for editing
  • 2+ years in recent Youtube channel video marketing. Recap video experience, Reaction YouTube video experience. Please do not apply without this requirement
  • A plus is incorporating AI editing tools
  • Understanding and high level interest in Youtube
  • Strong video reel of youtube editing experience. Please do not apply without this requirement
  • Experience working with YouTubers
  • File management, backing up projects
  • Able to work collaboratively but also as an individual contributor
  • Adhere to brand style guide and aesthetic of video edits and video qualify
  • Knowledge of comedic timing, funny bits, how to look. at a script or dialogue and know the in/outs of it
  • Build out in-person editing themes
  • Passion for Youtube and basketball/sports
  • Applying feedback to improve future videos to reduce editing note and feedback volume
  • Able to understand creative direction and visuals
