TMG Studios is a production company that produces the award winning podcast Tiny Meat Gang as well as Brooke and Connor Make a Podcast, Zach and Wahlid Show, Insanely Chill, Stretch & Fade, and TMG Investigative Team with more podcasts set to release in the coming months. We create, produce, and distribute video and audio podcasts, as well as other shoulder content, for a large and ever growing audience.

What We Are Looking For

TMG Studios is looking for a talented Video Editor to join our internal team. This person will take on the full time role of video editing podcast episodes and contributing to post production workflows and the creative of our shows. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio of relevant work and be highly skilled in video editing with experience in basic motion graphics, color grading, and audio mixing.

• Ability to edit content geared for both video and audio viewers

• Possess a strong sense of story and timing
• Familiar and comfortable collaborating with a team

Responsibilities

• Basic motion graphics, color grading, and audio mixing within Premiere
• Opportunities to edit creative short form videos utilizing Adobe After Effects
• Daily editing of 4K video podcasts using Adobe Premiere Pro
• Collaborating with other editors & producers on edits
• Occasional thumbnail creation in Adobe Photoshop

Qualifications

• Basic to Intermediate experience with Adobe After Effects & Photoshop
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
• Previous Post PA or Assistant Editor experience preferred
• 1-3+ years of experience as a Video Editor at an advertising agency, production company, digital platform, etc.
• Full-time hours, hybrid work schedule out of our Culver City studio
• Team-oriented, positive, and professional demeanor
• Intermediate to Expert skill level in Adobe Premiere
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Salary/Rate: $24 - $28.85 hourly (50 - 60K annually)
