About The Job


Twine Freelancers work quickly and efficiently to produce high-quality results. We are seeking a seasonal video editor for one of the major professional sports leagues.


Responsibilities


  • Stay up to date with industry standards and best practices
  • Ensure logical sequencing by organizing and trimming footage segments
  • Handle critical deadlines and short turnarounds in a fast-paced environment
  • Identify opportunities to create new and fresh video content by utilizing new trends and tools
  • Pitch, produce, and edit video optimized for social platforms
  • Embrace new and innovative ways to tell stories across the social channels


Requirements


  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, with a strong emphasis in Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, and Media Encoder
  • Familiarity with special effects, 3D and compositing is a plus
  • Working knowledge of video and audio encoding, standards, and formats
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a high level of resourcefulness
  • Thorough knowledge of the Football Leagues, associated events and storylines
  • Strong audio and music editing skills
