YOUR DIRECT RESPONSIBILITIES

• Review various assets, including graphics and thumbnails
• Research and write outline and scripts that yield high retention
• Incorporate community insights to deliver impactful storylines that are consistent with the TBNR brand and each Talent's skills and history
• Quality control of final outlines before filming
• Use YouTube Analytics to understand why things succeed or fail and make adjustments as needed
• Assist in guiding our content strategy as things evolve in the YouTube ecosystem
• Assist with the physical production of shoots to ensure the creative vision comes to life
• Engage in competitive research, watching other channels to understand the landscape
• Pitch ideas to the team in weekly creative meetings
• Give feedback on videos while in the notes phase
• Work with producers to guide the creative vision with a focus on relevant pacing
• Other duties as assigned
• Identify relevant and high interest, entertaining topics that will drive the YouTube audience to click on our videos
• Maintain several projects at once while effectively managing time and responsibilities

REQUIREMENTS

• Experienced researcher
• Organized and detail oriented
• Experience with YouTube Analytics a plus
• 5+ years of writing for YouTube and/or social media
• Plugged into YouTube trends
• Well versed in the Google Suite
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize workload efficiently and meet strict deadlines for tasks/assignments
• Good attention to detail and follow-through skills

TBNR's targeted total compensation rate for a full-time YouTube Creative Strategist / Content Writer based in Dallas, Texas is between $50,000 and $75,000, which depends on experience, expertise, internal equity within the organization, location, and alignment with market data.
