Youth Sports Game Day Director

Overview:
i9sports is a leading youth recreational sports company dedicated to providing a fun and safe environment for children to learn and enjoy sports. We are currently seeking a dynamic Game Day Director to join our team. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring our game days run smoothly, and our participants have a positive experience.
Responsibilities:
As a Game Day Director, you will be responsible for overseeing multiple locations across three territories. Your primary responsibilities include:

• Venue Setup:
• Supervise and manage a team of 10-20 part-time staff members.
• Ensure all signage and promotional materials are displayed appropriately.
• Ensure all necessary equipment is ready and available for game day activities.
• Provide guidance and support to staff during game days.
• Venue Maintenance:
• Utilize the company vehicle for equipment transport and other job-related tasks
• Maintain cleanliness and safety at venues throughout the day.
• Staff Management:
• Assist in setting up venues before game day activities, ensuring they are organized and safe for participants.
• Complete assigned marketing tasks from the General Manager
• Address any facility-related issues promptly.
• Coordinate equipment drops and pickups across the designated territories.
• Work closely with the Operations Directors to address any operational needs and challenges.

• Assist in resolving logistical issues and ensuring a seamless game day experience.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in event management, sports administration, or a related field is a plus.
• This role involves the regular movement and setup of heavy equipment. Candidates must be physically fit and capable of lifting, carrying, and maneuvering heavy objects 40lbs without assistance. The ability to perform physical tasks related to equipment setup and maintenance is essential for this position.
• Availability to work on Friday afternoons, Saturdays, and Sundays.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
