The Workforce Intelligence Consultant upholds our Purpose by analyzing position management data to support workforce analytics, identify headcount efficiencies, and optimize cost savings. This role supports workforce planning by developing and improving upon established Workday processes and configurations. The Workforce Intelligence Consultant is a strategic thinker who looks forward to driving impactful initiatives at Southwest.

Job Summary
- Design dashboards and reports, deliver analytics insights, and collaborate with stakeholders to present analytics, measure targets, and develop roadmaps. Support the broader team with expertise in workforce planning by creating methodologies, processes, and guides to enable business functions through data analysis and headcount forecasting.
Responsibilities
- Assist with OFCCP audits by collaborating with General Counsel, gathering all necessary documentation, analyzing and interpreting data, and corresponding with auditors in order to provide a timely response
- Serve as technical subject matter expert for Tableau, Quick base, and in-house HRIS systems
- Educate internal Customers on Workforce intelligence by developing and answering questions, and reviewing work in order to provide guidance on system use and ensure consistency of data
- Develop presentations for Senior Leadership by translating raw data into visualizations and highlighting key outputs in order to present data in a way that is understandable to various audiences
- May perform other job duties as directed by Employee’s Leaders
- Build end-to-end analytical solutions that are highly available, scalable, stable, secure, and cost-effective
- Derive insights from spans, layers, and Senior Leader Ratios to optimize the workforce
- Serve as the expert in designing, implementing, and operating a scalable environment to flow information from the source systems to data warehouse into end-user facing reporting applications such as Tableau
- Develop influential visuals and presentations; effectively translate data collection methodologies and analytical results into stories and presentations that help organizational leaders to understand the opportunities and inform decision making
- Promote Workforce intelligence across SWA and use data storytelling to communicate findings and recommendations for talent, headcount and labor market data to drive business results
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Skilled in analytics
- Ability to produce quality and accurate work under pressure of tight deadlines
- Ability to initiate tasks, perform duties, respond to inquiries, and think independently without direction or supervision
- Preferred knowledge: Experience with Tableau, Python, and Altreyx may be beneficial to transitioning to this role, but are not required
- Ability to identify and analyze trends in large sets of data
- Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems
- Ability to build data products incrementally and integrating and managing datasets from multiple sources
- Ability to produce quality and accurate work under pressure of tight deadlines
- Ability to prepare and deliver data in a visual format
- Ability to stay organized and deliver high quality work, paying close attention to details
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret data
Education
- Required: High School Diploma or GED
Experience
- Human resources, HR support, or HRIS reporting
- Advanced level experience, seasoned and specialized knowledge in:
- Preferred: Proficient in data analytics, such as forecasting, data visualization
- Preferred: Experience using data tools, such as Tableau, PowerBI, Alteryx, Python

- Ability to use a computer and other office productivity tools with sufficient speed and accuracy to meet the demands of the job
- Ability to communicate and interact with others in the English language to meet the demands of the job

- Must be a U.S. citizen or have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986

Pay & Benefits:
Competitive market salary from $112,950 per year to $125,500 per year* depending on qualifications and experience. For eligible Leadership and individual contributor roles, additional bonus opportunities are available and awarded at the discretion of the company.
