Workforce Absence Management (WAM) is a division of People & Technology Consulting (P&T), a national consulting practice within HUB International. This hands-on position will help the team support clients by providing and executing the best Absence programs for their employees. This role will provide specialized focus in the area of absence management by assisting with client engagement efforts as part of continuously improving and expanding our practice.
Role Responsibilities
Provide Absence Management consulting services involving short- and long- term disability, workers’ compensation, statutory disability/paid family and medical leave, Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Sick/Vacation/Paid-Time-Off.
Assist leader to work with clients on various absence management programs to analyze business requirements and design and implementing solutions to fit their absence program design, processes/function, intra-program coordination, and vendor management needs.
Conduct analytical evaluations on data received from carriers and employers related to workers’ compensation, short- and long- term disability, FMLA/leave of absence, and sick/vacation/PTO plans.
Support efforts to develop strategy options and vendor evaluation criteria for clients.
Leverage external networks including vendors, partners, industry resources, etc.
Use skills including fact-finding and analytic investigation to identify issues and risks.
Positively and proactively represent HUB International in meetings, seminars, trade shows and networking events.
Position Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in business, Human Resources, or a related field from a four-year college or university.
At least five years of work experience resulting in SME-level Workforce Absence Management program expertise.
Proven success assisting team members in partnering well with Sales and Operations to provide solutions for clients.
Ability to travel as needed up to 25%
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Disclosure required under applicable municipal regulations in NY and NJ, as well as the law in Colorado: The expected salary range for this position is $70,000 to $85,000 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope and level.
