Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability to work in a large, matrixed organization, successfully influencing others and establishing relationships
  • Proficiency in conducting user research and testing to understand needs
  • Proficiency in active listening and communicating at all levels
  • Good understanding of Retail, Distribution and Transportation domain
  • Proven track record of implementing of WMS/WEC/WCS solutions at scale, preferably in Retail/e-Commerce space
  • The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor’s degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job
  • Proficiency in working as part of a collaborative, cross-functional, modern software design and development team
  • Experience in package solutions like Manhattan WMS or Blue yonder wms will be plus.
  • Proficiency in creating, prioritizing, and accepting epics and user stories
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence or similar tools.
  • Experience with “Source to Target” mapping for integration work between WMS and complex enterprise retail/ supply chain applications


Responsibilities

  • Working with a highly talented team, will play key role to build and run one of world’s largest automotive and industrial replacement parts operations
  • Specifically, this role will function as WMS Product Manager - Technology, Supply Chain, Warehouse Management System (WMS) of the Supply Chain Tech Team and will build the next generation Supply Chain technology products and services.


  • Translates business goals and end user needs into product strategy; communicates direction and product priorities to the development team, other matrixed teams, and third-party partners
  • Strategy and Planning – Looks across product teams and feature sets with a focus on alignment and dependencies
  • Identifies goals, metrics, and analytics to determine product value; continually makes recommendations and refinements to the product backlog based on learnings
  • Seeks to empathize with and understand the end user deeply and use that knowledge to determine the fastest path to deliver value


  • Provides regular updates to leadership regarding progress of products within the portfolio
  • Receives and prioritizes incoming requests from business partners and stakeholders while keeping in mind the business strategy, product vision and user needs
  • Delivery and Execution – Reviews recommended solutions and work of product team to ensure products are aligned with company, stakeholder, and end user priorities
  • Removes roadblocks and obstacles that may impair product teams to help ensure delivery of the product to meet strategic, financial, and technical goals


  • Conducts annual and mid-year reviews, reviewing individual development plans and providing performance feedback
  • Guides more junior team members in strategy, alignment, analysis, and execution tasks
  • Works with the product team to continuously assess progress, disseminate lessons learned, and understand next steps
  • Acts as a proponent of modern software development practices
  • Manages cross functional team and stakeholder expectations to execute on product strategy and provides education to requestors to determine prioritization based on tangible benefits and/or user experience
  • Attracts, retains, and develops top talent to build a world class Product Management Team
  • People – Provides leadership, mentoring and coaching to Product Managers
  • Advocates for the end user and stakeholder by becoming associated with the product, empathizing with, and understanding user needs
  • Fosters collaboration with team members (Engineering, UX, etc.) to drive value and identify and resolve impediments
