Wireless Networking Engineer Jobs

Overview:

M247 is looking for a Wireless Networking Engineer to join our team on a contract basis. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of wireless technologies and experience designing and implementing wireless networks.

Responsibilities:

-Design, implement and manage wireless networks

-Conduct site surveys and coverage testing

-Develop and maintain network documentation

-Participate in the planning and implementation of security systems upgrades and expansions

-Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver network solutions

-Troubleshoot wireless network issues

Qualifications:

-Solid understanding of wireless technologies, including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, LTE, 5G, and other wireless protocols

-CCNP Wireless or equivalent certification

-Strong Ekahau experience in conducting wireless site surveys, designing and troubleshooting wireless networks

-Familiarity with Cisco DNAC

-Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in wireless networking

-Expertise in Cisco and Aruba wireless technologies

-Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Requirements:

-Must pass a thorough background check and 12-panel drug test

-Ability to lift and move heavy equipment

-Travel requirement up to 50%

-US citizens or green card holders only

-1099 or C2C only

-No agencies or recruiting firms

Compensation:

-Hourly rate range $55 - $95

-Travel expenses reimbursed per client travel policy
