Warehouse Helper Jobs

Poudre Valley Rural Electric Association is seeking a Warehouse Helper who wants an exciting work atmosphere and to be a part of a team dedicated to safe, reliable, energy efficient solutions with exceptional service.
This position will work under the general direction of the Warehouse/Plant Maintenance Foreman and will responsible for supporting the efficient operation of the warehouse and yard storage areas through issuing materials and receiving returned materials used on the electric system; maintaining accurate material records; maintaining clean and safe equipment/materials storage areas and assisting in the maintenance of adequate materials to be used on the electric system.
Key Responsibilities

• Assist in making up material-issue, return and credit tickets, and maintain accurate material electronic records.
• Disassemble retired material, recondition salvaged items, and return to stock where practicable, and maintain related records.
• Receive and process all incoming shipments to warehouse or pole yard and record items received; deliver shipments to appropriate department or storage area.
• Professionally and proficiently works with contractors and vendors to check and deliver material.

Qualifications

• A minimum of six months of warehousing experience is preferred. Forklift operating experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required; forklift certification is required and must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
