Your Mission
As the Website Manager, you will report to the Director, Web & Search on the Digital Marketing team, and will be responsible for defining and owning a digital experimentation plan for the Medidata.com corporate website. In this role, you will plan and execute a regular series of A/B tests, identifying and implementing opportunities to increase web visits, improve content engagement, and maximize conversions.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Implement updates to the Medidata website to incorporate experimentation learnings
- Collaborate with Marketing stakeholders to recommend and implement best practices for web pages
- Assist with website updates to support stakeholder requests and business priorities
- Evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points, define conversion points, and optimize user funnels
- Serve as internal subject matter expert for GA4 and Google Tag Manager, training internal users and staying abreast of latest best practices
- Leverage data to provide insight into web page performance and identify optimization opportunities across other Medidata web pages
- Partner with marketing operations to create reports and share insights with internal stakeholders within the global marketing and product marketing teams
- Create a structured experimentation program and run regular A/B test experiments to test the performance of web page UX and UI
Your Competencies
- Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to identify and implement opportunities for optimization
- Up to date with latest trends and best practices in digital marketing
- Ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels and across all departments
- Proven experience partnering with third party and internal creative services teams
- Demonstrated experience running experiments that led to measurable business results, and implementing web updates based on the outcomes of those experiments
- Strong storytelling skills with the ability to convince others to adopt your recommendations
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to prioritize conflicting priorities
Your Education & Experience:
- CMS experience required; Wordpress preferred
- Web analytics experience required; Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager preferred
- Minimum 5-7 years of digital marketing experience required; B2B experience preferred
- Bachelor’s degree required, in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field
- This position requires hybrid work in the NYC office
- Interest or experience in tech, life sciences industry and/or clinical development preferred
- A/B testing experience required
The salary range posted below refers only to positions that will be physically based in New York City. As with all roles, Medidata sets ranges based on a number of factors including function, level, candidate expertise and experience, and geographic location. Pay ranges for candidates in locations other than New Jersey, may differ based on the local market data in that region. The base salary pay range for this position is $76,000 to $106,000.
Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Medidata provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for a commission on the terms of applicable plan documents, and many of Medidata's non-sales positions are eligible for annual bonuses.
