Company Description

The Jacksonville Black Chamber of Commerce (JBCC) is a non-profit organization dedicated to advocating for and supporting black-owned businesses and communities in the Jacksonville area. We strive to create a more equitable and inclusive business environment for our members and the community at large. Our mission is to be the voice of black-owned businesses and communities in Jacksonville.


Role Description

We are looking for an experienced Web Developer to join our team as an intern. This is a remote role and the successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining web applications and websites. The Web Developer will be expected to work closely with the team to ensure that all web applications and websites are up to date and functioning properly.


Qualifications

  • Knowledge of SEO best practices
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to troubleshoot and debug web applications
  • Familiarity with web frameworks such as React, Angular, and Vue
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web development languages
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong knowledge of Back-End Web Development, Front-End Development, Web Development, Programming, and Web Design
