Job Description

Connect SWFL provides Web Services and Managed IT Solutions to businesses in Southwest Florida. We are a team of professionals dedicated to enhancing businesses’ brand image through creative expression while connecting our clients with their customers and community.


We seek a self-motivated and detail-oriented Web Designer/Developer to join our team out of our Fort Myers, FL office! You will be responsible for creating visually compelling, conversion-focused website designs for multiple clients across many industries.


The appropriate candidate would be working primarily in WordPress CMS and should have an excellent working knowledge of Photoshop and Adobe XD and familiarity with the Adobe Creative Suite to design and develop effective professional websites.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Knowledge of Google Analytics and other tools in order to prepare monthly reports, forecasting and trends.
  • Stay on top of the latest technologies and trends in web design and development.
  • Taking the client’s vision and goals and turning an idea or concept into a fully realized functional website.
  • Building responsive websites in WordPress CMS that are up to the latest standards regarding speed, SEO, security, and user experience.
  • Keep existing managed websites up to date with WordPress security updates and implement client website revisions promptly.


Job Qualifications:

  • ADA compliant design
  • Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD, Premiere a plus)
  • Understanding of Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console (Webmasters)
  • Understanding of On-Page SEO
  • 2+ years of proven WordPress Experience (Designing, Managing, Integrating)
  • Good understanding of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and other front end technologies
  • Experience designing and developing responsive and mobile-first websites
