nd Shift

What your day will look like:

The Warehouse Team Lead is Responsible for the operation of a shift within the Warehouse function. Supporting the Management Team with the day-to-day operation of the warehouse, responsible for a group of operators and ensuring an efficient warehouse operation in achieving business targets.

  • Prepare and process all paperwork relating to shipping and receiving
  • Store and maintain items in their respective locations in a warehouse
  • Pack and forward items from warehouse to assigned destinations
  • Develop the team by focusing on individual performance and support requirements to achieve high standards, whilst fostering a culture of working safely
  • Must be flexible to cover vacation and call outs
  • Complete tasks as assigned and resolve day to day problems
  • Ensure all materials and ingredients are picked and staged for production lines
  • Receive goods and services both physically and systematically
  • Keep the warehouse premises neat and tidy
  • Train and cross-train new employees in various job functions
  • Handle and execute loading and unloading operations using a fork-lift
  • Order and receive equipment and materials
  • Ensure Cycle counting is done during shift and ensure accuracy of all inventory
  • Be the Safety Leader at all times
  • Provide line management to the team coordinating their workloads, providing support to ensure that the team delivers, monitoring any issues, and ensuring production targets, KPIs, and quality standards are met in order to meet the requirements of the customer

What you have to offer:
  • Must have or be able to have or receive forklift and electric pallet jack certification
  • High School Degree, GED or vocational school
  • Follow all GMP’s (Good Manufacturing Practices) including but not limited to: no jewelry, no fake eyelashes or fingernails, no nail polish
  • Must be able to work in hot or cold environments
  • Follow all company rules, regulations and documentation
  • Oversee and participate in the receiving, shipping and storing of inventory items
  • Maintain the warehouse in a clean, orderly, safe and secure condition
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred not required
  • Employee must be able to read and write to understand the HU system, complete tote, case & pallet counts and to receive ongoing training, including safety training
  • Ability to input data into computer utilizing various systems
  • Ability to be flexible with line movement and cross training capabilities
  • Make recommendations regarding proper storage, inventory and warehousing procedures and improvements in warehouse efficiency
Physical requirements:
  • Must be able to independently lift up to 25 pounds on a regular basis and up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis.
  • Must be able to tolerate heights up to 10 feet off the ground on occasion.
  • Requires 100% flexibility of wrists and hands. Must be able to manage walking, bending, standing, twisting, and lifting regularly throughout the course of shift.
  • Personal Protective Equipment: Smock, hair net, ear plugs, steel toe slip resistant rubber shoes/boots, and safety glasses. Chemical resistance gloves when performing shut down or proper attire during cleaning tasks
