This role is responsible for all staff, processes, and functions related to all inbound functions and internal distribution of Turbocor products within the Tallahassee Factory Operations. This role will be responsible for maintaining implemented SOPs, training, and managing staff, and will be expected to rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. This position will report to the TLH Director of Operations.

Job Responsibilities


  • Lead and direct warehouse personnel including receiving coordinators, water spiders, and spare parts team.
  • Motivate, inspire, and foster teamwork within the warehouse team to ensure that performance and productivity targets are achieved.
  • Support Turbocor On-Time Delivery objectives by collaborating with Supply Chain team to ensure orders are being prioritized and received on time.
  • Respond proactively to performance concerns, discipline, employee complaints and other employee matters.
  • Maintain transportation records applicable to billing, freight claims, and carrier performance.
  • Other duties/responsibilities may be assigned to this position at the managers discretion.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure the proper and timely transactions of all goods movements within the warehouse and internal distribution to production.
  • Participate in meetings with other functions in efforts to understand material flow requirements, to collaborate on more efficient processes, and to maintain clear and open communication.
  • Administer supervision, training, scheduling, and guidance to shipping personnel. Assign work to staff, setting priorities for each.
  • Oversee all Warehouse activities including, but not limited to the safe receipt, storage, retrieval and timely dispatch of inventory in accordance with internal production requirements.
  • Provide a safe, clean, and secure working environment for all team members.

Required (basic) qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.   • SAP Experience is a must.
  • Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of related work experience or 7+ years of experience managing complex multiple warehouses.
  • Working knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office (i.e., Word, Excel, and Outlook)

  • Problem solver, decisive, results oriented and high sense of urgency.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to team members, and other departments of the organization.
