Thanks to incredible growth, LovelyGroup is looking to add an Operations Manager to LovelySkin’s ecommerce Distribution Center. We look forward to adding another big picture thinker and leader to this team. This role will partner closely with our Director of Operations and DC managers/supervisors to oversee the process of shipping out thousands of orders per day to our valued customers. What you’ll enjoy doing everyday:

The Operations Manager will be a key contributor to the overall productivity and people development of our DC team members and aid in a new facility launch in the next year.


Order Fulfillment Process Oversight

  • Responsible for shipping schedules including adjustments for holidays and knowledge of daily business requirements
  • Model shipping standards and best practices of the fulfillment process.
  • Share in regular supervisor duties to include: delegation of tasks to team members, fixing shipping issues, troubleshoot production issues and point of contact to shipping carriers.
  • Manage daily workflow, with support of team supervisors, to meet customer shipping commitments and deadlines
  • Forecast and communicate and seasonal order surges to shipping carriers
  • Track and analyze order volume to create accurate production forecasts for shipping carriers, staffing and leadership.
  • Day-to-day facilities management to include communication with outside contractors for maintenance, cleaning services, etc.


People Management

  • Lead and supervise a team of Supervisor and DC team members to achieve daily productivity goals and deadlines
  • Lead effort for staffing planning including staffing analysis and hiring
  • Primary point of contact related to schedules, time punches and employee issues
  • Prioritize productivity and engagement for team members through regular touchbases, coaching conversations and when necessary, productivity counseling
  • Create a culture of continuous improvement and safety awareness.


Operational Strategy and Management Functions

  • Work as an active team member in the planning for building project of new facility
  • Oversee inventory control best practices and conduct annual inventory and scheduled cycle counts.
  • Partner with other departments and leadership on initiatives related to process improvement and cost savings.
  • Provide reporting related to shipping costs (i.e. TY vs LY costs) for accurate supplies ordering and budgeting
  • Supervise the operational component of our in-house distribution channel, Olive and Delmar, to include: order fulfillment, inventory management, etc.


What you bring to the table:

  • Advanced knowledge of shipping procedures and software
  • 5+ years of senior warehouse operations experience; ideally within an E-Commerce fulfillment center
  • Previous experience leading large production focused teams is preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Management, Logistics, or related program of study preferred by not required
  • Effective communicator and partner for teammates, cross functional teams, and leadership
  • Experience with integrating and utilizing warehouse management systems; NetSuite ERP knowledge preferred
