Warehouse Lead Weekend Shift

Our weekend shift works three 12-hour shifts (Friday-Saturday-Sunday) but is paid for 40 hours!
The Warehouse Lead performs, and leads a team of Associates in, the following daily tasks;

• Using hand-held scanning mobile tool to scan product in and out of inventory
• Staging customer orders for delivery
• Loading customer delivery trucks
• Double-checking the accuracy of all outgoing customer and/or branch shipments using appropriate equipment and resources to ensure safe and appropriate handling of product with the goal of developing the ‘Perfect Order’ process

Note: Famous Supply Warehouse Associates handle large products such as water heaters, furnaces and showers.
Primary Job Responsibilities

• Ensuring product is handled with care to prevent damage
• Coaching and mentoring a team of associates to ensure they adhere to safety and operational processes
• Keeping warehouse clean, neat and organized
• Documenting associate issues with regards to performance, teamwork, production, or other measurable areas
• Attention to detail to ensure warehouse tasks listed above are done accurately

Required Experience And Skills

• Problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and decision-making skills
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand on feet for majority of an 8 hours day

Preferred Experience And Skills

• Customer service experience
• Experience using RF Scanners
• Building industry experience and requisite product knowledge
• Forklift experience
• Experience working in a warehouse
• Leadership experience
• Building industry experience and requisite product knowledge
