Your role with us
Working with your teammates, you'll perform general maintenance tasks. From inspecting the building grounds, maintaining warehouse cleanliness, performing routine repairs, and championing the waste and recyclable duties, you'll ensure that everything runs smoothly—and safely—to keep everyone happy. Here’s a list of your main duties:

• Performs snow removal and salt application throughout walkways and parking areas.
• Inspects buildings, equipment, and systems regularly and identifies any issues or repairs.
• Acts as a backup for Warehouse Associates as needed.
• Performs routine plumbing, electrical, and other repairs within scope. Works with third party vendors and repair agencies as needed. Communicates necessary building repairs with supervisor/manager.
• Sorts and disposes of cardboard, recycling, and other general waste as needed throughout shift.
• Completes AED/first responder training and responds as necessary to workplace incidents.
• Develops and implements preventative maintenance procedures.
• Ensures broken pallets are collected and discarded appropriately.
• Maintains floors, including routine sweeping, cleaning, and mopping.
• Assists Warehouse Associates with oversized product.
• Delivers office supplies throughout the building.

Your profile

• Ability to work in accordance with sound safety practices, working independently, organizing, prioritizing, and completing assignments using own initiative.
• Minimum of three years’ hands-on experience in maintenance.
• Must have the ability to perform light construction work in support of facilities maintenance.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must have the ability to operate cleaning equipment, power equipment and use the hand tools necessary to accomplish assigned tasks.
