Job Description
Summary

StarChild Academy Elementary in Winter Garden is looking for an experienced teacher to join our growing team. The successful candidate will have a passion for helping students learn, grow and excel.
Job Responsibilities
  • Establish and communicate clear objectives for all learning activities
  • Prepare and deliver daily lesson plans
  • Provide extra assistance for students with academic problems
  • Manage student behavior in the classroom
  • Maintain accurate and complete records of students' progress and development
  • Assign and grade classwork, homework, tests, and assignments
  • Observe and evaluate student's performance and development
  • Provide a variety of learning materials for use in educational activities
Job Qualifications
  • Professional in appearance and demeanor
  • High work standards
  • Positive interpersonal skills with students and parents
  • Strong communication skills
  • Problem-solver
  • VPK Endorsement AND Active CDA
  • High energy level
  • Strong curriculum experience.
  • Ability to multi-task
