Job Description
Redaptive is seeking an experienced VP Strategic Sourcing to lead the development and management of our network of contractors who install our energy, renewable generation, and energy efficiency projects. In this role you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with contractors, driving procurement strategies to reduce costs and lead times within our installer ecosystem. In addition, this role will oversee vendor safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leading sourcing and procurement initiatives and managing teams in a fast-paced growth environment.


Must be located in, or willing to relocate to the Denver Metro Area.

Job Responsibilities


  • Develop and implement contractor performance metrics and ensure continuous improvement.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with contractors to ensure the best pricing, terms, and conditions are achieved.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and applicable regulations, including safety regulations and standards.
  • Develop and execute the company's strategic sourcing strategy for our network of contractors, including identifying and managing relationships with mechanical, electrical, solar, and general contractors.
  • Build and manage a team of both US and India based Partner Management and Procurement team members.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to identify sourcing opportunities and implement strategic sourcing initiatives that deliver measurable cost savings.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with contractors to ensure optimal performance, delivery, and quality.
  • Drive procurement strategies to reduce labor and material costs and lead times within our installer ecosystem.
  • Use a balanced approach of incentives and quality standards to ensure that our installers outperform expectations and maintain the highest levels of quality and service.
  • Establish and maintain effective processes and systems to support sourcing and procurement activities, including vendor safety policies and procedures.


Job Requirements/Qualifications


  • 10+ years growing and developing teams.
  • 12+ years of experience in strategic sourcing and procurement in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Experience negotiating complex contracts and agreements with suppliers or contractors.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive cost savings while maintaining the highest quality standards.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of the energy, renewable generation, or energy efficiency industries preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Have an ergonomically correct and functional work-from-home workstation set up; amenable to a hybrid of working from home and in an office setting in the Denver Metro Area, Colorado.
  • Experience managing relationships with mechanical, electrical, solar, or general contractors preferred.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
