AmplifiedAg is the leader in Controlled Environment Agriculture (CEA) looking to revolutionize global indoor farming. The VP of Operations and Engineering will oversee and be responsible for all assembly operations, engineering activities and purchasing at our multiple locations. The successful candidate will be responsible for the P&L, logistics, crop health, culture, safety and personnel. In addition, the VP will work cross-functionally with our sales, marketing, HR and finance teams.

What You’ll Do
- Work with the HR team to recruit, retain, and develop high performing team members
- Identify, prioritize and resolve areas for improvement within the manufacturing process with a focus on efficiency and quality control
- Work with the sales team to maximize visibility between capacity and sales potential
- Maintain always tour-ready sites
- Be an advocate for AmpEdge and the full implementation of all capabilities
- Oversee the farm operations team to ensure production stays on schedule in all aspects of farming (seeding, transplanting, harvesting, packaging, delivering, cleaning, etc.)
- Ensure compliance with company quality, sanitation, and food safety standards
- Oversee work schedules for all staff with the goal of maximizing efficiency
- Oversee the manufacturing process of our hydroponic container farms and implementing new processes as required
- Maintain overall responsibility for the performance of the farm manufacturing facility and the farm operations, including P&L, safety, quality, productivity, etc.
- Provide a safe working environment by maintaining quality equipment and enforcing adherence to safe work practices

- Demonstrated ability to run a complex manufacturing operation
- Detail & process oriented
- Strong mentoring, coaching experience to a team with diverse levels of expertise
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
- Excellent analytical, problem solving, and superior management skills
- Ability to influence and engage direct and indirect reports and peers
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems
- Vast experience implementing CI, Lean & Six Sigma processes
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in STEM or business management and 10+ years of experience in a leadership role
- Experience in OSHA compliance programs
