Summary

The Opportunity

Hyatt seeks an enthusiastic Vice President to join our Americas Hotel Finance team. In this role, you will be leading our Americas hotel finance organization and collaborating closely with our GMs collaborating closely with the above property teams in operations, finance, HR, commercial services, and our shared service center, where you’ll be instrumental in continuing to make Hyatt a leading hospitality company. The Role

Responsibilities include general oversight of hotel finance and accounting for the Americas Region. This includes oversight of hotel finance leadership development, supporting hotel openings, transitions, and other transactions, and developing and implementing process efficiencies to drive change in hotel operations. In addition, collaborate with corporate legal, tax, operations, commercial services, human resources, and other finance functions on issues impacting hotel performance.


  • Develop programs for the professional development of Directors and Assistant Directors of Finance
  • Build succession plans and recruiting strategies to attract new talent to the Americas
  • Collaborate with Finance Shared Services to drive change and efficiencies in hotel accounting processes
  • Provide financial insights and action plans to drive hotel performance to General Managers, SVPs of Field Operations, and other key stakeholders
  • Opportunities to participate in Hyatt’s Diversity & Inclusion activities

Qualifications

Experience Required:

  • 15+ years of leadership experience in finance
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or business
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience with leading teams and driving change
  • Experience with Oracle and Hyperion

Experience Preferred:

  • Master’s degree
  • CPA
