VP eCommerce

Reporting directly to the Chief Customer Officer, the VP, eCommerce will craft, communicate, and deliver a compelling, holistic omnichannel experience strategy. This includes overseeing all aspects of our online sales route-to-market strategy including channel marketing, portfolio design, customer engagement, order fulfillment, with strong capability around business development. The candidate will have a successful, proven track record of driving sales growth through eCommerce channels, as well as a deep understanding of the latest trends and technology in the marketplace. The role requires strong cross-functional communication and collaboration to ensure that we are demonstrating our category leadership within this growing channel.

Ways you will make a difference

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

  • Help manage the relationship between our eCommerce agency and internal stakeholders
  • Partner with cross-functional leaders to execute national programs within the channel, ensuring amplification of key messaging
  • Work closely with the cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration between the eCommerce team and other functions, including supply chain and fulfillment
  • Ensure strong knowledge of portfolio management, omnichannel marketing, and customer engagement
  • Clearly articulate strategic opportunities and channel evolution to our c-suite stakeholders
  • Lead a growing eCommerce team, tasked with delivering a best-in-class omnichannel activation strategy across eCommerce and omnichannel retailers to meet sales objectives
  • Identify and develop growth opportunities at brand, category, and portfolio level
  • Familiarity of key eCommerce sales and marketing KPIs to drive accountability and performance within the pillar
  • Help to develop a disciplined, data-driven approach to omnichannel planning as the organization continues to evolve with our customers
  • Translate brand priorities and partner with our agencies and customer teams to develop the plans and programs necessary to meet sales targets
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in the eCommerce industry and provide thought leadership and guidance to the organization on best practices
  • Demonstrate strong creativity and intellectual curiosity as we continue to transform in a highly dynamic eCommerce marketplace

Experiences that will support your success

  • 10+ years of eCommerce experience, with prior experience in CPG marketing or sales preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree required, MBA a plus
  • Ability to develop and execute a strategic vision
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Excellent leadership and management skills with a track-record of building and developing high-performing teams
