Position Overview

As a senior photographer, you will bring the maurices brand to life by creating and capturing off-figure images for e-commerce and other marketing content. You will actively collaborate with art directors and other creative team members, in creating impactful images that drive sales.

The senior photographer exhibits exemplary visual skills and creativity with an excellent understanding of photography and composition, while working in a professional team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Partner with art directors to ensure final images are meeting quality standards and creative direction
• Capture the features, benefits, and selling points of each product
• Develop and maintain an efficient product photography/post production process and workflow
• Light, compose, style, photograph and process a wide range of off-figure products for e-commerce and marketing content
• Adjust, rename, prepare for digital delivery and manage all assets

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience
• Ability to concept, execute and present creative ideas that support the maurices brand
• Preference given for candidates with video editing experience
• Current portfolio demonstrating depth and breadth of creative capabilities
• 3-5 years of photography experience, preferably in off-figure fashion or product photography
• Strong prioritizing, problem-solving and planning skills
• Curiosity around learning new things and staying current with culture and trends in fashion
• Expert proficiency in studio lighting, camera software, Adobe Photoshop, and color management tools
