Job Description

We are looking for a part-time (10-15 hours per week) individual contractor with proven experience performing general administrative and marketing tasks.We are looking to grow fast with the right team so hours may become fulltime within the next few months.


THIS POSITION IS NOT FOR ANYONE WHO HAS OTHER CLIENTS OR THEIR OWN BUSINESS.


You will be assisting a small team offering support on company initiatives, primarily related to marketing. The ideal candidate should have strong writing and organizational skills, be well-versed with social media management practices and related tools, be comfortable using website design tools for tasks such as posting/editing content, creating landing pages, etc. We would expect the Virtual Assistant to meet regularly (via Zoom).


Job Responsibilities


A successful candidate for this position will be able to perform tasks, including but not limited to:


• Assist in executing marketing strategy.

• Work with team to manage company initiatives.

• Making calls on our company and our clients behalfs

• Taking care of personal one off tasks for our CEO

• Maintain and adhere to timelines for various initiatives (usingclickup/trello).

• Making sure our team hits deadlines.

• Assist with developing social media content.

• Set up forms, pop-ups, and/or landing pages for internal promotions such as lead magnets and webinars (using OptinMonster and/or LeadPages, often in combination with Zapier for integration with other platforms).

• Create social media/promotional images (e.g., Canva)

• Post regularly to various social media channels.

• Post (already created) content to website (currently managed in WordPress) following publishing guidelines.

• Input and schedule emails as needed using tools such as ActiveCampaign.

• Help monitor and respond to support e-mails from subscribers/users.

• Attend regular meetings with team via Zoom.


Job Requirements


• High School diploma or GED certificate

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or a related field a plus

• 1-3 years experience in marketing, administrative/virtual assistant role, or equivalent education

• Proficiency with Google as well as Excel and Word

• Experience with social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube)

• Basic knowledge of designing on Canva or a similar design tool

• Prior experience with landing page and form design tools such as OptinMonster and LeadPages

• Experience using Zapier to create integrations between different platforms (optional but preferred)

• Prior experience working with e-mail marketing and automation platforms like ActiveCampaign

• Prior experience with WordPress or similar Web-based content management system

• Strong written and oral communication skills (writing samples may be requested)

• Self-driven, committed team player
