Job Summary:


As the Entry Level Marketing Assistant, you will work closely with the business development and sales team. You will play a pivotal role in helping us meet our go-to-market objectives and achievement of our revenue goals through actively participating in field marketing & sales campaigns. You'll work independently and at certain times work with and manage others, receiving general direction rather than direct supervision.


Responsibilities of a Marketing Assistant Include:


  • Perform professional presentations in the office and in the field with customers by demonstrating client products and services
  • Maintain accurate records, including sales reports, networking reports, and other documentation
  • Analyze sales/marketing data to create and implement improved field marketing campaigns and efficient territory management strategies
  • The ability to communicate (both written and verbal) clearly and professionally
  • Generate new clients to increase revenue through leadership development and elite sales tactics
  • Coordinate and implement sales strategies with other marketing and sales representatives
  • Identify new incremental business opportunities in existing accounts and new territories


Knowledge and Skills Requirements of a Marketing Assistant:


  • Proven talent at building relationships and influencing without authority to gain support and commitment from others; mobilize people to take action; motivate others to meet strategic goals
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Demonstrated teamwork and leadership skills, including the ability to develop junior staff
  • Open to the training of advanced marketing and communication principles
  • Determination, drive and enthusiasm, and ability to work independently
  • Strong project management skills and proficiency in effectively managing multiple projects at a time
  • Ability to effectively engage with senior sector leadership


Education:


  • Bachelor's degree, with a Marketing, Business or Communication major preferred
