Brief Description: Pali Adventures and Pali Institute rely heavily on several different digital mediums for marketing purposes. Pali is looking for a Videographer/Photographer to help us produce he high quality content our programs demand. Our media team members serve as both videographers and photographers and are responsible for documenting a camper's experience by creating weekly and bi-weekly videos in addition to capturing photos of the camper's experience. This requires Team Members to visit various activity sites when they are in operation and capture content of campers enjoying their activities and the camp experience. The content gathered must then be edited into one cohesive session video or school video as well as the daily and weekly photo uploads.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must have completed high school and be a minimum 18 years of age or older.
• Editing photo and video to a high technical standard.
• Desire and ability to work with children.
• Exhibit characteristics of: Responsibility, dependability, leadership, patience, punctuality, hard work, sense of humor, self-control, integrity, common sense, good judgment and a positive enthusiastic attitude.
• Experience in both photography and video capture

Essential Functions/Duties

• Media team members are entrusted with the care and safety of young children in a rustic setting replete with natural and man-made dangers. All staff members must have the ability to respond immediately to an emergency. Any staff member with a disability that may affect the media team member's ability to physically perform these requirements should immediately inform the Human Resources Department to determine possible reasonable accommodations.

Job Requirements

• Disparaging remarks about others are not permitted.
• Staff member will not give campers their real names before, during or after their employment contract ends.
• Classic editing programs.
• Edit all content to produce a high-energy reel, highlighting all of the key moments from the camper's week at camp.
• Other duties as assigned by the Media Director/Manager & Instructor of Creative Arts.
• Work to a tight schedule meeting all deadlines.
• Complaints and concerns go UP the chain of command.
• Adhere to camp uniform policy.
• Report directly to the Media Director.
• Camp staff will not use objectionable language.
• Upload video and photos to the relevant Pali servers.
• The staff member will always participate in the assigned activities with professionalism and enthusiasm during afternoon activities, evening activities and general camp life.
• Work efficiently with the Final Cut Pro and Adobe Lightroom
• Collaborate with other Team Members to ensure that all required content is gathered each week.
• Work as a member of a team.
• Film and photograph campers as they enjoy their specialties,
• Camp staff must under no circumstance be under the influence of or in possession of any drugs, alcohol or tobacco products.
• Ability to accept supervision and guidance.
• Practice clean communication.
