The Opportunity

We are looking to hire a skilled Website Developer to design and implement attractive and functional websites for our clients. You will be responsible for both back-end and front-end development including the implementation of WordPress themes and plugins and site integration and security updates.

To be a successful WordPress developer, you should have in-depth knowledge of front-end programming languages, a good eye for aesthetics, and robust content management skills. Ultimately, a top-class WordPress developer can create attractive, user-friendly websites that perfectly meet the design and functionality specifications of the client.

The Responsibilities - What will I be doing?

• Developing HTML email templates in HubSpot.
• Understand website design and functions and know what a high-converting website should look like
• Designing and building the website front-end in WordPress.
• Developing landing pages in HubSpot.
• Populating the website with content from content templates.
• Working with the campaigns to create new experiences.
• Working with the design team to troubleshoot UX issues.
• Designing and managing the website back-end including database and server integration.
• Monitoring the performance of the live website.
• Conducting WordPress training with the team.
• Creating the website information architecture and customizing themes.
• Troubleshooting content issues.
• Customizing WordPress themes and plugins.
• Conducting website performance tests and solving performance issues.
• Updating the website with announcements, pop-ups, and other forms of content delivery.

The Requirements - What do we need?

• Good understanding of website architecture and aesthetics.
• Proven work experience as a WordPress developer, HubSpot experience is a plus!
• Knowledge of code versioning tools including Git, Mercurial, and SVN.
• Must be responsive and effective in written and verbal communication
• Ability to manage projects and coordinate with different teams
• Knowledge of front-end technologies including CSS3, JavaScript, HTML5, and jQuery.
• Experience working with debugging tools such as Chrome Inspector and Firebug.
• Strong communication skills
