Video Editor/Motion Designer

Edisen is seeking a Video Editor/Motion Designer. For this role, we are looking for someone with an extremely high taste level and sharp creative editing skills. The ideal candidate should have 3-5 years of video editing and design/motion graphics experience, be proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud, have an eye for layout and typography, and be familiar with current design trends.

Edisen is known for creating award winning content for agencies and brands. This role will help bring ideas to life through collaboration with a dynamic team of creators. You should be aesthetically-driven, have a passion for visual storytelling, building impactful brands — and have fun while doing it. The Video Editor/Motion Designer position is a hybrid, dynamic role that will be an expert and involved in motion graphics, edit and design.

What You'll Do

• Concept, design, and edit for large clients and projects.
• TVC’s, short form, long form, branded content, social media.
• Push the boundaries of artificial intelligence to develop cutting-edge solutions for various creative projects.
• Collaborate with creative leads across multiple projects.
• Utilize your expertise to create compelling content, generate unique ideas, and craft interactive experiences.
• Work directly with Head of Editorial and give creative and project support.

What You Need

• Ability to work with tight deadlines in an organized fashion.
• 3-5 years of video editing and design/motion graphics experience.
• Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere, After Effects, Resolve, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Strong eye for editing and design layout, typography, and current design trends.
• Experience designing for screens of all sizes.
• To be considered candidates must be located in one of the following states: CA, CO, CT, FL, IL, NJ, NY, TN, NV, VA
• Experience with live action production and virtual production.
• Ability to do creative editing with concept design elements and execute, while clearly and strategically articulating design decisions, both internally and to clients.
• Highly proficient in post-production workflows, with knowledge of CG, VFX, motion design and compositing.

• Attention to detail - making sure every layer is turned on/off correctly, staying on top of all feedback notes.
• A multitasker that can prioritize and adjust priorities as projects shift.

Compensation: $70,000 - $110,000 annual salary contingent on experience
