Job Title: Videographer-Producer-Editor
Job Summary
The Videographer/Producer/Editor shoots, produces, and edits content for the Department of Marketing and Communications at the Mount Sinai Health System. This individual collaborates with multidisciplinary departments and coordinates with the Senior Director of Media, Senior Creative Director, Media Director and Vice President of Marketing and Communications to support their respective missions, ensuring a consistent message to the public about the institutions mission, vision and values in the global community.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Oversee equipment maintenance, from DSLRs to cinema cameras. Expert knowledge of cameras as it pertains to videography and best video practices.
• Monitors and maintains video studio equipment and software
• Some travel required to produce content at conferences to promote Mount Sinai’s brand
• Evaluates and improves video studio procedures and guidelines in collaboration with vendors and internal teams
• Oversees, develops and provides support of video studio production efforts for internal stakeholders of the Mount Sinai Health System.
• Assists in the creation of scripts, storyboards, b-roll and other video production assets, in collaboration with content experts and stakeholders
• Communicates and schedules video projects with stakeholders, and serve as a liaison between studio vendor and stakeholders.
• Performs other related duties
• In collaboration with the Marketing, Communications and Media Relations departments including Digital & Social Media, responsible for producing, lighting, shooting and editing content that supports the mission of the Mount Sinai Health System.
• Produces quality videos that represent Mount Sinai’s brand and voice.
• Working Knowledge of Adobe Premiere, Audition, Photoshop and Aftereffects.
• Completes assignments in a timely manner and prepares content for final release
• Manage all elements of video production and fulfillment, including interviewing, working with talent, camera operation, and service relationships with external agency partners
• Supervises additional editing by other individuals and or vendors.
• Produce and create patient testimonials and expert profile videos.

Education Requirements
Bachelors degree required; Masters preferred
Experience Requirements
5 years experience (greater is preferred), in editing in Adobe Premiere, Avid and Creative Cloud Suite
General Skills And Competencies

• Able to shoot with DSLR’s and Sony CCD camera preferred
• Working knowledge of Photoshop and After Effects
• Team player, with the confidence to take the lead and guide other departments when necessary
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and specific editing workflows
• Proficient with project planning, lighting, shooting and post-production;
• Self-motivated to complete tasks on time
• Ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in written and verbal format, and build and maintain relationships

Compensation
The Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides a salary range to comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $87,692.00 - $131,538.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
