Job Description

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Identify and qualify financially stable customers.
  • Develop and apply an understanding of GDT products, sales methodology, processes, prospecting techniques, and customer base while selling to prospective clients.
  • Meet and exceed assigned quota for Managed Services
  • Develop measurable processes that empower the Sales team to consistently meet or exceed ambitious goals.
  • Drive referenceable customer satisfaction in all assigned accounts
  • Coach, train, evaluate and monitor the Sales team’s performance.
  • Lead ongoing efforts to evolve and define value add offerings and packages.
  • Be a leader in building and developing operational efficiency, new account development, repeat sales, problem resolution, and sales campaign programs to maximize results.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with all levels of clients, partners and Managed Services organizations as appropriate
  • Grow business through development and delivery of managed services and drive add-on business within customer base and retention
  • Set and track against sales targets for the Sales team to include KPIs.
  • Meet and exceed assigned quota for Managed Services
  • Maintain accurate forecasting and clear management communication
  • Develop and implement the sales and service delivery strategies required to grow the PS/MS practice through Operations
  • Provide key leadership in the definition and execution of new advanced service offerings.
  • Prospect and close target accounts against competition by leveraging partners and GDT Managed Service solutions
Education and Experience Requirements:
  • 8-10 years of experience managing an Inside Sales team.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach and motivate a team
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • 8-10 years of experience in a high-volume sales environment; preference for experience working in the Managed Services space and Professional Services within Operations
  • Experience in a fast-paced growth environment, with proven success working independently and navigating an ever-changing environment.
  • Customer-oriented approach to driving growth, and experience creating exceptional customer experiences at scale.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Ability to present to executive level and articulate GDT solutions and capabilities
  • In-depth understanding of market, technologies, products and services
  • Excellent communication, relationship, and leadership skills in IT industry
  • Strong customer service orientation and an effective influencer with excellent telephone etiquette and presentation skills, including appropriately handling calls from clients.
• Organized and demonstrated initiative - must be able to handle and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast paced, high-pressure environment • Ability to interact effectively and build relationships with all levels of Customer
  • Highly polished and professional in demeanor
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills along with exceptional ability to listen
  • Team oriented, flexible, and adaptable; positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Willing to travel to client sites as needed
Working Conditions/Essential Functions:
