Vice President of Sales - Motion Ai
This position provides leadership, guidance, and support, ensuring achievement of Sales and financial objectives for the Field Sales Regions, Territories and Centers of Excellences within the division.
JOB DUTIES
- Implements corporate initiatives, policies, and procedures to support the overall direction of the Automation Division and Motion.
- Recruits and develops Field Sales Region/Territory Managers to oversee and optimize sales in each market.
- Collaborates to identify and secure new business opportunities and improve Sales operational excellence and effectiveness.
- Covers all aspects of sales, account management, training, and sales support.
- Develops sales plans and budgets for achieving sales goals.
- Plans, organizes, allocates resources and directs the day-to-day Sales operations of the division.
- Reports to a Group Automation Executive who helps with direction, priorities and resolution of key issues.
- Supervises the sales and financial performance of Automation Division.
- Sets the sales strategy and growth plan for the Automation Division and ensures the execution.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES
- Ability to provide effective performance coaching and feedback.
- Strong analytical, mathematics and project management skills required.
- Fifteen or more years of experience with Automation, management, corporate accounts, finance or a combination of both required.
- Ability to influence and motivate.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Strong business and financial acumen.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Typically requires a bachelor's degree and fifteen (15) or more years of related experience
or an equivalent combination.
