Job Title: Vice President of Sales (Hospice)


Location: Alabama


Compensation: $150000 to $200000 + Bonus Structure


Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Vice President of Sales to lead our sales team in the hospice industry in Alabama. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales management within the healthcare sector, with a focus on hospice services. As the VP of Sales, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, developing strategic sales plans, and overseeing the sales team's performance. This is a senior-level position that requires exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.


Responsibilities:


  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve organizational goals and revenue targets.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders in the hospice industry.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including strategic partnerships and alliances, to expand the company's market presence.
  • Lead and manage a high-performing sales team, providing guidance, coaching, and mentoring to maximize individual and team performance.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop and implement effective sales and marketing campaigns that generate leads and drive revenue growth.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify opportunities and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
  • Conduct regular sales performance reviews, providing feedback, and implementing strategies to improve sales effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the executive team to develop sales forecasts, budgets, and sales plans that align with the company's strategic objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth coordination and execution of sales activities, including customer onboarding and service delivery.
  • Stay updated on industry regulations, compliance standards, and best practices to ensure adherence and promote a culture of ethics and professionalism.


Qualifications:


  • Proven track record of success in sales management, in the healthcare or hospice industry.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team to achieve targets and exceed expectations.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Extensive knowledge of the hospice industry, including key players, market dynamics, and trends.
  • Strategic thinker with a demonstrated ability to develop and execute sales plans that align with business objectives.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of financial principles related to sales forecasting, budgeting, and profitability.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales productivity tools.
